The celebration everyone knew was coming arrived Saturday night at Lowe’s Motor Speedway against a background of exploding fireworks.

Tired of the Robby Gordon Bashing?

If you’re one of Robby Gordon’s fans growing weary of the public flogging he takes on occasion, you may be in the wrong place. I’ve taken my fair share of shots at the Sprint Cup driver, by the same token I’ve praised his off road racing efforts and his occasional “do-good” projects.

More NASCAR Punditry Flung off the Rails into a Ditch

As seen in my preceding post when it comes to punditry, whether it be of the NASCAR variety or political/social, it must come with at least a modicum of truthfulness. If not you’re just a hack with a license to print.

NASCAR's Christmas Stockings

NASCAR’s Christmas Stockings

While it always seems that Christmas rolls around faster than Carl Edwards can turn a lap at Bristol Motor Speedway, Yuletide is here again, and it’s time to speculate on what Santa might be putting under the tree for some of NASCAR’s favourite personalities.

Chicken Littles in Crash Helmets and Armani Suits

Chicken Littles in Crash Helmets and Armani Suits

I thought the holiday season was a time of family, friends and good cheer. It’s hard to make that case if you spend any amount of time reading some of the headlines floating above NASCAR Nation.

NASCAR: Year of the Busch or the Rain Cloud?

NASCAR: Year of the Busch or the Rain Cloud?

Mother Nature must luv Kyle Busch as yet another rainy day forced Sunday’s Cup event to start via points and places Busch on the pole.
For the second consecutive race, the third in the last six and the seventh this year, rain washed out qualifying which begs the question:
With ten events left who wins more Busch [...]
