That Didn’t Take Long, Not Long at All!

The retirement cake hasn’t been cut (probably not even baked), the corks are still firmly planted in a lorry full of bottled Beaujolais Nouveau and the special charter flight from the Caspian Sea carrying

  1. Firstly, I’m lucky enough to get the DTM on cable & it a bloody good series.

As we have discussed before, Schui will drop off the scene for a while with no racing. However, a few years down the track, MS in the DTM is not a far fetched theory. My tip….wait for a Alfa Romeo re-entry into the series.

  2. Oh marc, you are going to hate my unproductive nit picking.

Didn’t Opel pull out of the DTM? HHF drives for Audi…..sorry, I’ll go straighten my sock draw, & check my stamp collection.

  3. You might be right Peter, but I did get the Opel reference from the DTM website. In looking at the HHF website I linked above it does in fact say he drives for Audi.

Pretty sad when you can’t trust the homepage of the series to provide correct info.

  4. Fear not marc, like Windows spell-check, I’m always here………what was that term you used? Omnipresent, omnipotent, impotent????

& yes HHF did drive for Opel in 05 before they pulled out, although the loss of any manufacturer is a worry the DTM seems to be able to survive & prosper with only two auto makers,a bit like the Aussie V8’s.

It’s a pity you dont get any DTM coverage from your provider because the racing is high quality. Merc’s Bernd Schnieder & Audi’s Tom Kristensen (multi LeMan winner) are two I love to watch.
