Steve Wallace maybe? Ah, no the son of Rusty is continuing his undistinguished run in the Busch Series.

19 year old Chrissy Wallace, daughter of Mike, made history this weekend by becoming the first female driver to ever win a Feature Division-Late Model Stocks event in Hickory Motor Speedway’s 57 year history.

Reading the account of the race she was well deserving of the win, she qualed third, maintained her position until the last 10 laps and drove to the front holding off two challengers to the checkers.

Chrissy’s mother met her in victory lane and she received a cell phone call from proud Papa Mike Wallace from Dover.

Now isn’t that a feel good story on what the weather-guesser is saying is yet another rainy, gloomy day in Dover?
