Each car/driver from each team goes out and runs a specific number of laps, as fast as they can! The dude who runs the fastest gets to start in the front. The guy who runs the slowest, starts at the back. Everyone else fills in the rest of the spots based on their time, that day, in that car, on that track, rather than how the car, and possibly some other guy drove last year. Novel approach I know, but it's worked for other series...

And really, this go or go home crap, what's the point? Does it really make a difference to sit 4-5 guys out everyweek? Let them drive! Let their sponsors get their money's worth!
