   Time to get off the issue of Evernham and his private, emphasis on the word private, life. Not anything remotely like Jeff Gordon’s mistake with ex-wife Brooke, so why do you continue to kick dirt in Ray’s face over his personal life?

   However the relationship with his girl friend became public, and the real issues involved in his relationships, it is disappointing to read your constant harping on the subject.

   Let it go, we your readers (at the least me) expect better than that from you. But we are none perfect and I expect sooner rather than later you’ll lose interest in the topic. My last comment on your none too perfect observations of Ray’s none too perfect life choices. We all deserve a second chance, allow him the courtesy of resolving his personal problems in his own time.

   Simple, it’s far from “personal” and hasn’t been for a while.

   Secondly, if his choice of liaisons were with someone other than an employee I would have left the issue long ago.

   He’s still the boss and she’s still in employee. (in addition to other “duties”)

   I’ll get off that horse when they part ways professionally. But fear not George, that should happen sometime between now and I’d guess mid-June.

   George, you need to relax. Also, note the difference between JG and Brooke’s split and Evernham. Gordon kept his affair out of the public eye, and when he said no comment he meant no comment. Evernham parked his no comment next to him on the pit box at every race.

   Anyway, as far as relaxing, sometimes a bite to eat is just the thing. Maybe a snack.

   A Twinkie, perhaps?

   George jumped the gun a bit.

   When I wrote this I didn’t even think of the Side Dish as a Side Dish. I only thought of how she has failed to show any progress at this point in NASCAR.

   She has had flashes in ARCA but that may be due to superior equip from Evernham as compared to the majority of the ARCA field.

   Get over what? The fact Erin Crocker hasn’t lived up to her billing as yet? Didn’t realize one was required to get over a factual matter.

   That aside, you seem to have misunderstood the point of the post and overlooked the clear explanation for it in comment #4 above.
